Thank you to the many donors who responded to our call to raise $25,000. We hit our goal which will be matched with $25,000 from the Matching Challenge Grant. The $50,000 will provide Double Cure with the funds needed to complete the final stages of the new 5-story building which will house the Hospital and Nursing School.
To further help our partners, we are raising another $25,000 to equip the Hospital with medical equipment and supplies. Partnering with Project C.U.R.E., the funds will cover the cost to ship a 40’ shipping container full of equipment and supplies from their warehouse in the United States to Uganda. Project C.U.R.E. is a non-profit which assesses the need for and coordinates the delivery of donated medical supplies and equipment to under-resourced hospitals and medical centers throughout the world.
